Pool Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

The Phoenix page holds 147 pool contractors in Arizona, and the trade here divides into two working worlds. One builds: custom pool and spa companies, several run by the same family for decades, alongside landscape firms that treat a pool as one piece of a whole backyard. The other looks after pools that already exist, through weekly service routes, repair crews and resurfacing outfits. Dolphin Pools Construction (4.9 from 633 reviews) has operated as a family owned company since 1984, and Rondo Pools and Spas, Inc. (4.2 from 117 reviews) has built custom pools and spas in Phoenix since 1983.

Concrete is the default for new work. Desert Crest, LLC takes a pool from excavation and steel rebar placement through gunite application, plumbing and electrical, and Emerald Pools and Spas builds with 4000 psi shotcrete and PebbleTec or PebbleSheen interior finishes. BAM Shotcrete, Pools R Us Arizona LLC, Arizona Pool and Spas and Desert Reflections Companies LLC also work in gunite or shotcrete. Fiberglass is the minority choice: Shasta Pools builds both gunite and fiberglass pools, and Natural Swimming Pools offers fiberglass as well. Shapes run from lap and plunge pools to zero edge, infinity and negative edge designs, often with a spa, tanning ledge or waterfall attached.

Many Phoenix pools arrive as part of a bigger backyard project. Outdoor Xscapes (4.7 from 125 reviews) does landscaping, hardscaping, artificial grass and outdoor kitchens alongside pools with spillover spas, tanning ledges and bubblers. Lone Star Landscaping (4.7 from 72 reviews) works on luxury outdoor living for estates in Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale, including DC Ranch, Silverleaf, Desert Mountain and Troon North. Phoenix Pool Patio & Landscape Design (5.0 from 33 reviews) treats water features as a specialty, with grottos, water arches, rain walls and water curtains, and Sonoran Landesign (4.1 from 64 reviews) has designed and built pools and desert landscapes since 1995.

Remodeling and resurfacing carry a large share of the work. We Fix Ugly Pools (4.9 from 313 reviews) started in 2001 as a remodeling and resurfacing company, with Pebble Tec finishes, tile replacement and coping repair, and now builds new custom pools too. Fowler's Pools (4.8 from 238 reviews) has worked across the Phoenix metro area since 1990 on leaks, pump problems, fallen tile, heater work, automation and green pool recovery. Desert Pool Tech (4.8 from 121 reviews) remodels and builds for homeowners and businesses in Phoenix and Scottsdale, and Platinum Pool Care LLC (3.9 from 48 reviews) centers its work on Tempe and the East Valley with CPO-certified technicians.
