Pool Contractors in Arizona, by city

Arizona pool work spreads far past one metro area. The largest groups of companies on this directory sit in Phoenix, Tucson, Scottsdale, Gilbert and Mesa, with more in Chandler, Tempe, Peoria and Glendale. Lake Havasu City has its own group on the Colorado River side of the state, and Yuma and Bullhead City carry smaller ones. Up north, Flagstaff and Prescott each have one company listed so far.

Use the city list below to find pool contractors near you. Each city page shows the companies in that town with their ratings, phone numbers and the services they state, and companies that build new pools come first. Each town page stands alone, so a small town keeps its own page instead of being folded into a neighbor.

Pool companies do different jobs. Some design and build custom pools from the first drawing. Some remodel and resurface existing pools. Others repair equipment or run weekly service routes. A listing's services show which work a company takes on, so you can skip the companies that do not do your job.

Arizona requires a license for contracting work, and the Arizona Registrar of Contractors runs the contractor search. The residential pool class is B-5, the commercial class is A-9, and KA-5 is the dual class. Look up a license there before you sign. Under state law, most residential pools also need a barrier at least five feet high, so ask each contractor how the barrier fits into the job.
